I will be making this later tonight. But I intend using mascarpone instead of cream. I hope you do not disapprove.

Oh! I have been a big baby about fennel. I may have to give up my biases and give this a go. Maybe add an anchovy or two?

In my Italian family, we always had fennel after holiday meals as a digestive. I love eating it that way and never thought of roasting or sautéing. Something new on my list! Tkx!!!

This inspired me to take the sad fennel from the back of the fridge and make a pasta sauce too. I didn’t have cream so I used egg yolk and parm (carbo style) with a little feta and it was so delicious!
