I love the substitutions too! I will make it this weekend. I have never thought of using canned peppers... yummy. All the non dairy substitutes love it love it!
made and loved this! added in a splash of white wine to deglaze in step 2 before the blender & used all the substitutions to make it vegan ❣️ delicious
I made this with Namaste gluten free flour blend. Made the pasta using my KitchenAid Pasta Press. Deglazed with 1/4 cup dry white wine. Amazing recipe (and even better with Chicken sausage). Thank you.
From my experience, I find that when I boil the sauce for too long, the sauce tends to break since all the water is evaporated. I'd add some more pasta water to encourage re-emulsification! Hope that helps.
Would love to try this! I have always questioned myself when the pasta packages say 8-10 minutes cooking time and you say 4 minutes less, would it be 4 or 6 minutes?
I just made this! It’s so good and easy. I made a few subs because I didn’t want to go to the store and was a little lazy… I used sour cream (a really good kind that is not like most sour creams), tamari for the anchovies (had them but didn’t want to cut them, dried basil, goat cheese, more garlic (it’s the rule), and I roasted in the oven instead of sautéing on the store (the lazy part). If the abridged version is great I can only imagine the correct way is even more amazing!
Can't wait to try. I love that you share substitutions - genius!
so happy to hear that xx
Made it this weekend and I love it. My kid and his father too! But I used fresh peppers instead. And added ricotta.
YUMMM

SO GOOD! I skipped the anchovies but it was sooo delicious. Perfectly creamy, cheesy, and spicy. I will absolutely be making this one again!
I like the plates you used

So quick and delicious! The entire family has voted that we keep stuff around to make this for quick easy meals. Thank you! ❤️
that makes me so happy!
Oh so easy peasy! Can't wait to try!
easy peasyyyyyy
Any idea why my sauce totally separated? When I added the parmesan in it all split and was super goopy.
that's super common! simply add some more pasta water and keep stirring, it should emulsify and become luscious again :)

this recipe killed my immersion blender. R.I.P. worth it tho
