Love when you post recipes from childhood!! I remember following you when you first started posting on Instagram and it was always fun to see what was different about your kitchen/grocery stores :)
Husband crushed it after a long day working out in the cold. Can’t think of a more satisfying meal during the cold winter months here in Northern Ontario. A must try!
Years ago, I helped to care for an Austrian Holocaust Survivor at the end of her life. She asked me to fix her some Chicken Paprikash, and I hunted for a recipe and made if for her three times before I got it "right." Thanks for bringing back a great memory of TG, my favorite hospice client.
Found your paprikash recipe when you reposted it on tiktok, and was feverish to try it during the start of our colder months. Holy cow... simple but incredible.
Tried this recipe last night and loved it! Freezing rain (our version of snow) all day in Texas and this was super comforting and unique to my palate, I don’t typically love love paprika but this made me a believer. Can’t wait to try more recipes
One of the best recipes I’ve made in a long time. Thank you so much for sharing! And because it’s kosher, I was able to share with my religious friends and family :)
definitely! use your favorite all-purpose gluten free flour, if you're looking for a suggestion, I think Bob's Red Mill 1:1 GF baking flour would be perfect for this. you might need less eggs than what the recipe calls for, so don't add them all at once, add one at a time until the batter reaches a thick, gooey pancake-batter-like consistency :)
Looking forward to trying this since the last Hungarian Chicken Paprikash I tried was a big fail. I have since purchased true Hungarian Paprika from a local spice store, so I feel like I’m already on my way to success!

Can gluten free flour be used in the dumplings?

Looks delicious. If I were to use heavy cream, would it still be 14 oz? Same if I were to use whole milk or a nut milk?
I'd use a little less heavy cream since it tends to be creamier and richer. Use the same amount for whole milk and nut milk :)
So excited to try making these dumplings & sauuuucceee! Oh my, thanks for sharing as always! 🥰
yayyy, so happy to hear that, Savannah :)
