I made this for dinner tonight, and it was SO good! My tomatoes didn’t blister up much so I cranked on the broiler at the very end. I would definitely make this again with either another cut of beef (short ribs?) or different protein like lamb, goat, or venison to switch it up.
This was delicious for dinner last night (& for lunch today) - I hope nobody else makes the dumb mistake I made though and keeps their cherry tomatoes on the vine to plop off after cooking; not sure what I was thinking!
Jay, I'm so happy to hear that! It was such a pleasure to have you in the zoom class yesterday, thank you for joining and thanks for the update. Hahah, hope that was easy to fix :)
I've had this in the queue since last March and finally made it. I rarely cook with polenta and it looked so tasty!
Added some onions and carrots to beef up the stew, and a bit of classic Korean-bbq-marinade soy/sugar/rice vinegar to finish it off... but oh my, it came out of the oven with so much depth of flavor, it hardly needed those! Loved it.

I’m so happy to hear that 🧡
This was amazing and so easy, I used Impossible instead of ground beef and it was delicious!
Yum!!!
