I made the sauce with an immersion blender right in my cast iron pan, but I forgot to add any cream so it was too acidic. I love the chunky texture & just added extra extra cheese. 💓
I just went back to the recipe to make it again. I kept portions of it in my freezer and this was the best dish when I didn't feel like cooking but still wanted something that is not pasta with pesto. So thanks for that :)
We've got a tomato garden and way too many cherry tomatoes. Any idea whether this sauce can be jarred and frozen? This would be a great way to preserve the tomatoes if so.
I made this tonight and subbed the cream and pasta water(whoops, threw it out) for 1 C veggie stock. Husband and I both loved it, not too salty or cheesy - just a simple classic Italian dish!

I make a dish very similar with feta cheese. Yum!
