These cups look lovely and orange + chocolate is always delicious!
Two questions, though:
1) Don't the mandarin seeds give a bitter taste to the ice cream mix? Should I remove them? (Pardon me if you are talking of a seedless variety, they are not common down here)
2) What could I substitute for coconut oil in case of allergies?
Great question! Definitely remove! Most mandarin orange varieties in the U.S. are seedless so this somehow slipped my mind when writing the instructions, I adjusted the recipe to clarify this. Thank you!!
You can substitute the coconut oil with other oils or fats! Olive oil or butter would be the first substitutions to come to mind, but if you're looking for something more neutral avocado oil should do the job.
I’m going to try this for my kiddos this weekend, looking forward to it. Love from Sydney Australia.
So delicious. I’m going to make these for the weekend ❤️
